Hi, welcome to the Hope Hub in Galicia!
Manolo, a Galician permaculture enthusiast bought a small abandoned village and 20 hectar of old forest in Mañon, Galicia. Hannah & Julia met him in 2023 on their search for the right place to prototype the first Hope Hub. Yup, it's a match! Together they decided to bring the village back to life and implement the Hope Hub concept to protect and revitalize the region.

Bioconstruction, regeneration and 7-generations thinking

We build in harmony with the Earth to restore and regenerate resources so that future generations can live safely.

Collective Governance and Stewardship Models

Creating democratic structures that protect the sustainability of communities and the Earth and build community wealth instead of private capital & privilege.

Next to resident housing, we build accessible community houses for short- and long term guests to live, stay and work together. We welcome intergenerality.

Co-living and working

Revitalizing culture & community

Creating a café and amphitheatre, accessible outside spaces such as the food forest to gather. We aim for a high degree of communtiy self-sufficiency.

Education and Innovation Hub

We collaborate with schools and Universities for educational offers and research. The aim is to collaboratively learn and spread the knowledge.

While we build and connect community structures locally to strengthen regional resilience, we are connected through the global Hope Hub network with shared values.
