The Regenerative Market Economy Initiative (IRM) recognizes that the economy is at a turning point. It combines market principles with regenerative approaches to integrate economic, ecological, and social value creation. Working with businesses, civil society, local actors, and especially young people, it shapes an economic model that ensures long-term resilience, links innovation with responsibility, and makes sustainability for future generations a guiding principle. Next to local meet ups all over Germany, they do much more: read more about them on their the website: https://regenerativemarktwirtschaft.org/

The Initiative Regenerative Marktwirtschaft invited to its first meet up in Münster. Organized by three motivated "MünsteranerInnen", they held space for people in and around Münster to come together to seek connections, dialouges and synergies for our mutual vision to bring a new economy forward that restores the health or the people and the planet. It was a beautiful event at the Cibaria Bakery, whose founder Rike Kappler inspired us all with her regenerative leadership in action for 35 years.
We will be part of the meetup group from now on, excited about future events and arising synergies and plans. It was especially cool to see some known faces like Nico and Daniel, who actually already had come to Galicia and been part of the it's thyme journey for a while. The interest in our Hope Hub concept, prototyped in Galicia, was so strong that we're soon getting a visit from the two amazing meet up initiators and sisters from Münster. So we can't wait to see what we will co-create together beyond Münster! Thank you everyone for a heartfelt evening, and showing up for the work.
