This sunday is not only the last day of the European elections (woopwoop, go voteeee 🎉!) but also our presentation of the Hope Hub at the local cultural center sharing about our journey, vision and all elements of our project 🧡.

We will also invite people into an exchange with us around how we can co-create the space we have (the abandoned village 🏚🌱🌄) in ways that benefit the broader community and region, listen to their ideas, wishes and fears. We believe that letting the local municipality, schools, businesses and people participate is what enriches not only the project but the whole development of the region and culture - and what makes the Hope Hub truly sustainable and systemic.

The more people cheer our project on, see the benefit in it, feel that they can have a say and contribute, the higher the chances of longelivity - a big principle for us. Systemic change can only happen when new structures are used, appreciated and actually held by the PEOPLE 👴👩‍🎨👷‍♀️🤰👳‍♂️👨‍🌾👨‍🏫👩‍👧‍👧.

With this project we also want to show that coming TOGETHER (international vs local, conservative vs progressive, young vs old....) is not only possible, but that it is joyful, not fearful and holds so much potential for positive change! Movement building, diverse participation, community "management" - whatever you want to call it - we believe it's the final level in the revolution game, the most difficult but also the key to success 😁!
